Group B

England - Well it could have been worse (Group C) and it could have been easier (Group A) but on balance I think this Group is probably good for England. The first game tomorrow in Frankfurt is crucial, I can see England drawing that one, beating T & T in Nuremberg and drawing with Sweden in the final game leaving three teams on 5 points - the goals tally against T & T being the decider.

Sweden: I expect Sweden to go through as second place team courtesy of a better goal difference than Paraguay - Henrik Larsson still has at least three good games in him at this level and its about time Freddie 'lunchbox' Ljungberg performed for Sweden as he does for the Arse.

Paraguay: Paraguay are a very good technical side and in Roque Santa Cruz they have one of my favourite strikers, he's quick, can hold the ball up and is very good in the air, if he's in the mood Rio will have to be concentrating for 90 minutes not spending time looking for Anton in the crowd. I think Paraguay will finish third, having drawn against England and Sweden and beating T & T to finish with 5 points like Sweden.

Roque Santa Cruz and Julio Cesar Caceres celebrate winning the South American three-legged race championship.

Trinidad & Tobago: Much as I would love Shaka Hislop to go off into retirement with a good World Cup behind him I think T & T are this groups whipping boys - they will lose all three games.
